The thesis statement must be definite and should explain and lead the reader to your argument. The thesis statement shows the reader that you are prepared to supply the argument.The thesis statement should be accompanied by an introduction. The introduction should be true to the points in the thesis statement and ensure that the reader is able to grasp and assimilate the thesis statement.You must be prepared to give the reader your own perspective and point of view. This is part of the argument that can be risky if you are to omit. If the thesis statement is confusing, the reader may skip to the next line and dismiss your argument as one of low quality.The thesis statement is your weapon against the argumentative essay. It is the step before the argument and it is imperative that you express yourself clearly and emphatically. The thesis statement is the foundation of the argumentative essay.
